As Egeo Logistics we provide airport-delivery and door-delivery services across the world, supported by systematic cargo operations and the dense flight availability that İstanbul offers as a hub. Thanks to the agreements we have concluded with leading airline companies, we are able to pass both service and price advantages on to our customers.
Air freight earns its cost in three situations: when the goods are time-critical, when they are valuable enough that the freight is a small share of the invoice, and when the alternative is a stopped production line. Our role is to tell you honestly which of those applies, and to offer a sea or road alternative when it does not.
Service levels
Not every urgent shipment needs the same product. We quote the level that fits the deadline you actually have.
- Standard — consolidated space on scheduled services, the most economical airfreight option.
- Express — priority space and the first available flight, for shipments measured in hours.
- On-board courier — a courier travels with the consignment for the highest-value or most time-critical pieces.
- Full and part charter — a dedicated aircraft or a block of capacity when scheduled services cannot take the volume.
Special cargo we accept
Perishable goods, temperature-sensitive products and dangerous goods all move by air every day, provided the paperwork and packing are right. We confirm acceptance with the carrier before the booking is finalised, so nothing is discovered at the cargo terminal.
For dangerous goods we need the UN number, the proper shipping name, the class and packing group, and a valid safety data sheet. For temperature-controlled cargo we need the required range and whether active or passive packaging is being used. For perishables we need shelf life and any phytosanitary or veterinary certification the destination demands.
What we need in order to quote
An air freight quotation is only as good as the dimensions behind it, because chargeable weight is the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Send us the number of pieces, the dimensions of each, the gross weight, the commodity, the origin and destination airports or addresses, and the Incoterms rule you intend to use.

Chargeable weight decides the price
Air freight is charged on the greater of gross and volumetric weight. A light but bulky consignment can cost several times what its scale weight suggests, so accurate dimensions in the enquiry protect you from a revised invoice.

Not always, once you count ground handling, security screening and customs at both ends. For nearby European destinations a dedicated road vehicle can match or beat air on door-to-door time and cost. We will compare both when we quote.
Yes. Door-to-door service includes collection, export clearance, the flight, import clearance and final delivery, all on one file and one invoice.
We arrange temperature-controlled air transport for pharmaceutical and healthcare goods using active or passive packaging. Please tell us the required temperature range, the total transit tolerance and any GDP requirements at the enquiry stage.
